Introducing ‘ONE’ from Sanaway

‘The UKs first unisex hygiene solution for all washroom environments’
Sanaway’s ‘ONE’ hygiene service is a groundbreaking solution in the market, designed solely to provide a one-stop inclusive solution for all washroom environments.
It is estimated that 1 in 10 people suffer with urinary incontinence in the UK, and men, women and children can all be affected*, and may require the use of a hygiene disposal unit at some time in their life.
Our ONE service aims to normalise the presence and use of a universal hygiene unit that can be used by everyone who needs them, regardless of whether they use male, female, unisex or accessible washroom facilities.
By removing gendered bins and requesting the ONE unisex service, ONE will also remove the discomfort and stigma some customers experience when discussing individual hygiene disposal requirements.

Need:
No more awkward conversations or requests for a hygiene disposal service that some of our customers experience when discussing different washroom gender requirements.

Solution:
Instead, a straightforward request for ONE hygiene units that cover all washroom needs.

Price:
A universal cost, with no premium charges, and as always with Sanaway, there are no ‘Duty of Care’ charges.
Sanaway’s ONE service, as with all our existing services, remains discreet, reliable and fully auditable in relation to our ‘Zero Waste to Landfill’ disposal process. Thus, reflecting your organisation’s ongoing commitment to the environment and sustainability.
We offer a range of colour options to meet individual preferences, and there are no hidden charges for ‘Duty of Care’ documentation.

1 in 10 people in the UK suffer with urinary incontinence, all men, women and children can be affected. ‘ONE’ units can be used by all people experiencing urinary incontinence issues which may be related to conditions such as prostate cancer which will affect 1 in 8 men during their lifetime. Other conditions that men may experience, and can cause urinary incontinence, include a stroke, dementia, obesity, or a disability and certain neurological conditions. The use of some medications may also cause temporary incontinence issues.
It’s really easy – just call us on 0345 094 9495 or email us and simply request the number of ‘ONE’ units you require for your business and we can allocate them to the washrooms as required.
- In the UK, about 1 in 8 men will get Prostate Cancer in their lifetime. The risk increases to 1 in 4 for black men.
- Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer among men in the UK with 55,000 men diagnosed every year. 12,000 men will die, that’s one man every 45 minutes.
- Prostate Cancer is often symptomless in its early stages, but 90% of men that are diagnosed early, are cured.
- Men need to know their risks – if aged between 50 and 70, has a family history of the disease, or is black, they should talk to their GP about a free PSA blood test, the quickest way of identifying a potential problem.
- Every man over the age of 50 has the right to have a PSA Blood Test.

YES, our standard female hygiene service will still be available, but any new units you require will likely be branded with ‘ONE’ logo’s. Every hygiene service will of course remain as Zero Waste to Landfill in terms of its disposal.
NO, hygiene units are only legally required in female washrooms in companies that employ one or more women. However, different people use different washrooms and have different needs. By making ONE hygiene units available in all washroom environments, you will help reduce the embarrassment and stigma that some people may experience if they must seek out a hygiene unit in an alternative washroom for their needs.
